The Franklin County Coalition for Progress (FCCP) is organizing the 6th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. (MLK) Day of Service in Franklin County on the national holiday, observing it as “a day on, not a day off.”
MLK Day of Service is a rewarding way for families, friends, neighbors and colleagues to make a lasting impact on their community in the spirit of Dr. King’s vision of the Beloved Community.
This event is free and open to the community. Please join us! We encourage all ages to participate; Kids under 18 should sign up to volunteer with a parent/guardian/family member. ​
While the event is free, registration is required.

NONPROFITS: Submit a Service Project
FCCP is seeking community organizations to host volunteers for MLK Day of Service. Service Projects will be scheduled on Monday, January 20, 2025 to begin at 9:30am.

COMMUNITY MEMBERS: Complete a Service Project
Sign up to volunteer with us! You can sign up by yourself (to be paired with others), as a family, or as a group. Registration is free and includes a T-shirt, breakfast, brief morning program, and connection to a local service project.

Morning Registration, Breakfast & Program
Check-in and continental breakfast will be open from 8-8:30am (this is also where you pick up your T-shirt!). The brief program begins at 8:30am, featuring a keynote presentation (speaker TBA).
